Mentoring with Barry
In business or in the church, if you’re a man in leadership, a year with Dr. Barry Jay Chole will change the way you see your self, your life purpose, and your God.
Barry holds a DMin in leadership, is a certified spiritual director, and has been providing formal spiritual mentoring and direction since 1985.
Everything he touches grows. His belief in people is transformational. One leader summed up Barry’s influence by saying, “Others taught me to run. Barry taught me how to walk.”
Currently, Barry is offering private spiritual direction (sign up for as many or as few sessions as you like) and a 12-month group experience called The7thYear.
2024 the7thyear Group Track
One-Time Administrative Fee: $357 (non-refundable)
- Due after an applicant is accepted into the7thyear to hold the spot and to cover administrative support for the participant's year-long experience.
- If you change your mind about participating before the7thyear begins, the administrative fee will be converted to a tax-deductible donation to Lii and a receipt will be issued.
Monthly Fee: $357
Includes:
- ONE 60 min. monthly one-on-one spiritual direction/mentoring session
- ONE 75 min. monthly small group teaching (4-6 participants)
- Five of Alicia’s books
- ONE men’s prayer retreat led by Barry at the Chole’s prayer retreat home in Branson, MO (www.rrbranson.com)

Scholarships: Available as funds permit up to 50% of the monthly fee.

Session Fee: $125 per 60 minute session.

Scholarships: Scholarships are not currently available for spiritual direction.
Barry's Story

Barry taught me how to walk.” Others who have stayed with the Choles have shared, “The most healing part of my stay was observing Barry as a husband and father.” Barry has been a safe, wise mentor to leaders around the world. Barry has been in full-time ministry since 1983 and was ordained in 1988. Throughout the past three decades, Barry’s focus has been mentoring men, serving university students, facilitating international student ministry, and consulting for third-culture transitions.
Barry holds a B.A. in History, an M.A. in Applied Linguistics, an M.Div, a D.Min in Leadership, and is a Certified Spiritual Director. In addition to being the lead men's mentor for Lii and providing spiritual direction for men around the globe, Barry serves the CEO of www.rrbranson.com (the Chole’s prayer retreat home in Branson, MO).
